Building strong and lasting relationships is the key to creating success online.  If I have said this once, I have said it a thousand times.  People want to do business with those they know, like, and trust.

Building those relationships that will last for years to come starts with the content that you create.  You need to have your own unique voice about how you deliver your content.  Be real.  Be human. Be honest.  Be yourself.

4 Tips To Building Stronger Relationships

I am going to give you a few tips to start to build those relationships that convert into leads and sales for your business.

1)  Be Kind & Generous with your content.

You need to have the end-user in mind when you are creating your content.  Ask yourself these questions:  Are you answering their questions?  Will this information provide any real value?  Is your point of view fresh and unique?  Forget about making a sale, and simply focus on helping people out.

2)  Be Yourself | People need to be able to relate to you.

People need to understand that you are no different than they are.  Let me give you an example:  I am a husband.  I am a father.  I am a stay at home dad.  I walk around most days in a T-shirt and flip-flops.  I am who I am.  I am an easy-going guy who loves to connect with and help people.  I was certainly not a success overnight.  I worked hard and learned the skills I needed to learn to become successful online.  These are all true statements.  People can relate to me.  They will relate to you as well, if you simply be who you are.

3)  Be consistent

You need to be consistent with your message as well as how often you are creating new content.  It is important that people stay connected with you and your content.  You will lose a large portion of your audience if you only get in front of them once a month.  It takes time to build relationships with people.  It is a good idea to have a strategic plan about how often you are going to create another piece of content.

4)  Become an Expert

People in general do not have enough confidence in themselves.  Becoming an expert within your niche market is not as daunting of a task as you may think.  You simply need to find experts within your niche market and consume their content on a daily basis.  Have you ever heard of muscle memory.  If I want to change my golf swing, I am going to need to repeat that motion hundreds of times before it is natural and I can repeat it on a consistent basis.  They same is true for business.  My advice to you is to READ, READ, READ.  You can do this my friend.

Set out to help people, and you will find success much sooner than you may think.
