Crafting Emails That Build Trust & Make You Money

Lets get down to it and talk about how you actually make money from your list.  The main reason your prospect will buy from you, or will whether they like and trust you.  Period.  

If you do not create Like and Trust, then you are not going to be building a job replacing income.  You can make a random sale here and there but no long term business success.

In this post I am going to show you how you can use email to build a strong relationship and bond with your audience.  And build a connection with them so that they look forward to getting your emails.  These are the prospects that will buy your products, service or join your opportunities.

But before we get into this further, I want to point out to you how NOT TO DO THIS.

Below I am going to create a list of things that will destroy your relationship with your audience and ultimately lead to unsubscribes and hurting your reputation.

This is what most marketers are doing and is destroying there businesses.

Here we go:

  • Relying on hype and false promises to make sales.
  • Being fake. (not being you)
  • Pitching in every email without providing value
  • Only emailing when you want to sell something.
  • Sounding like everyone else in their inbox

I could keep going, but these are the main things that marketers are doing that is destroying their chances of making in real money in this business.

Make no mistake about this – people are skeptical because they’ve already heard it all. And they are NOT looking for another sales pitch just so they can part with their money.

The way you stand out from the crowd is by being different.  And when I say different, I mean REAL.  Your Authentic Self.  People want to do business with those who are real and they relate to.  This is what creates belief.  And that belief is what makes you money.

How To Structure Your Emails So That You Build Trust With Your Audience.​

This is a very simple task once you understand the basic rules.  You should think of your emails as a conversation.

A conversation between YOU and YOUR PROSPECT.  You're not sending an email to your list.  You are talking to ONE individual person.  The person reading your email needs to feel as if you're talking to them and only them...just like a real conversation.

​This one technique alone will have you standing above the pack.  We all have crowded inboxes where we are constantly being pitched about the next great thing.  If you get this part right, it will allow you to create a deeper connection with your audience.

​Another great technique you can use, is to reveal things about yourself and your life.  This is my favorite and I will tell you why.

​I am a stay at home dad.  I started my career online back in 2010 so that I could have the ultimate freedom to watch my son grow up first hand.  I get to take him to school everyday.  When I pick him up we go and grab a bite to eat together.  For me, this is beyond priceless.

I have worked very hard to create this lifestyle business so that I can live the life of my dreams.  The money is great but why I got started in this industry was for true time freedom with my family.

I am who I am.  No more.  No less.  I don't pretend to be anything other than myself.  My life may sound boring to you and that is ok.  However I can assure you that my life and my message resonates with a lot of people out their online who are trying to build a business.  (especially parents)

Can you see the power in letting people see a small piece of your life.  I put this in all of my marketing online.  My message resonates with my ideal audience.  Yours will to.  Just be yourself.

This is quiet simple.  People do business with those they like and trust.  Allowing people to get a glimpse of your life will build a deeper connection with your audience. And when you have created that connection is when you will start to see some magic happening in your business.

Now I am not telling you to reveal your entire life story, but allowing people to see you as a human being and not a marketer trying to constantly sell them something is a good thing.​

​By telling stories from your life not only helps you create a bond with your audience, it also helps boost your open rates, and actually gets your emails read. Because unless they are reading your emails, it’s highly unlikely they’ll click on a link to buy your products, services or opportunities.

​So, what can you talk about in your emails.

  • Family / Kids
  • Relationships
  • Pets
  • Work
  • Something from your past
  • Your neighbors / Your relatives
  • Funny stuff that happens to you

​There’s NO SHORTAGE of ideas for your emails. You can easily turn ideas into short stories. And those stories can help you capture your prospect’s attention and build a relationship.

I am sure you have heard the term, "The Money is in The List".  In reality that is only half true.  "The Money is in The Relationship you have with Your List"

Start employing these techniques in your email marketing campaigns and you will see a huge difference in your response.  Open rates go up.  Clicks go up.  Your wallet gets larger.  ​
